- Practise with an ordinary sheet before using your favourite paper. The aim is an even edge, not a perfect first attempt.
- 01 Line up the edges: bring one short edge to the other. Hold the corners together lightly.
- 02 Check before pressing: adjust the edges while the fold is loose. Make a small crease in the middle.
- 03 Work outwards: on a flat table, press gently from the middle towards each end of the fold.
- Try it: fold two scraps. What changed when you lined up the corners first?

Do I need a cutting machine or specialist equipment?
The guides focus on simple hand-cut and folded paper projects. A cutting machine is not required.
